This is where science fiction becomes more than just entertainment-it’s a critical tool for expanding our thinking.
Science fiction allows us to imagine futures shaped by technology like AI, the metaverse, and digital governance. It helps us think beyond the quarterly results and envision what society could become. In Fading Realities: The Shadows of the Future, we meet Laya, a Prime Minister navigating a world dominated by immersive technologies and AI-driven policies. Through her story, we explore how technology reshapes everything-from governance to personal relationships-and how the choices made today will determine the fabric of tomorrow.
As a futurist, I’ve come to realize that stories like this are essential. They force us to consider the ethical dilemmas, cultural shifts, and long-term societal impacts that come with technological progress.
